Sällskapsdjur
Terrestrial animals are those animals that live exclusively on land. They don't have any adaptations to live in water like aquatic animals, or to fly like aerial animals. Terrestial animals can be found in every type of biome from rainforests to tundra, deserts to polar regions. Their size, shape, behavior and diet can be extremely variable based on where they thrive and what they depend on to survive. Examples of terrestrial animals include tigers, elephants, bears, giraffes, rabbits, ants, worms, tarantulas and snails. Dessa och otaliga fler varelser har speciella fysiologiska och fysiska egenskaper som specifikt utvecklats för att passa och anpassa sig till livet uteslutande på land.
